Galiano Island, Canada
Each year the Galiano Conservancy Association puts on an afternoon of hiking, music, and art. The fundraiser subsidizes 1,500 children to come to Galiano Island to live in nature, which they might otherwise not experience. The last number I heard was $23,ooo raised at this year's event, which did yet not include the amount made from the silent auction.
The walk goes through the forested trails and rocky cliffs of Galiano Island, on the Pacific coast side of Canada. Here are photos I took of some of the performers at this year's event.
