I like that ZWSoft has focused on core improvements in ZW3D 2013.
Dragging and dropping machining operations to change your machining sequence is by now a requirement in a CAM system. This change was badly needed in ZW3D. The improved core functionality should go over very well with the existing ZW3D CAM user base.
"Next big change is that ZW3D now handles multiple windows. You can open more than one drawing and/or model, and then switch between them with Excel-like tabs."
Very nice! I love this style of user interface since I'm always working with multiple parts. Can you copy and paste CAM machining operations from one open document to another open document?
"The simulation kernel in ZW3D 20133 has been upgraded to MachineWorks v7.1, allowing improvement to other areas of the CAM module."
Is MachineWorks now multi-threaded in ZW3D 2013? If so, I hope to see lots of You Tube videos demonstrating how fast it is and what other areas of solid cut part verification have been improved.
