My blood boiled when I read the rubbish uttered by Autodesk’s representatives in the interview as published.

What is said is a total re-invention of history, as it happened, and reflects very badly on Autodesk, its representatives and any person willing to publish or repeat it as factual!

It is pretty amazing to see the corporate speak from two major cad companies now. I figure that Dassault and Autodesk have, as their top goals right now, looking for pretty wrapping paper for covering up their red-headed step child dolls, and not asking themselves, "Is the idea of selling these dolls flawed?"

Ralph, how do the execs of either Dassault or Autodesk expect to be taken seriously with such chaotic and conflicting public statements? I hope the idea that "words do have meaning" to most people eventually dawns on them.

It is a puzzle.

I wrote these blog postings, because I did not want Autodesk customers to suffer through the same thing Solidworks users have, through the uncertainty created by Dassault Systemes regarding V6.

At this rate Siemens and Solid Edge may never have to develop an active and worthwhile promotional campaign for their products. Dassault and Autodesk are doing all they can to alienate their customers to the benefit of their competitors.
