A reader asks,
Can you recommend a “free” SAT (ACIS) file viewer that can view the files. Viewers like Spatial’s RADF Viewer only seem to see the one object or feature. For now, I am importing them into AutoCAD to verify the content but that’s rather clunky. I hope all is well on the wet coast.

I believe that the "see one object" was a limitation of older versions of the SAT file format. It used to be that when you exported to SAT, you could select only one "body." What you are looking for is a multi-body SAT viewer, and I don't think there are any that are free, due to licensing fees.
As for those of us on the "wet coast," it certainly is wet, like last Spring. Today, the sun is shining, and we are not quite sure what to so about it.
Inventor Fusion is free and can view sat files.

To me, free means the software doesn't time out. I believe Inventor Fusion has a date which it stops working. When software times out and will no longer work after a certain date that doesn't meet my definition of free software.
