AutoCAD 2013 on Windows 8? That's nothing. I have 2013 running on an older iPod Touch, as shown below.

It's running thanks to an app called iDisplay. Install it on your iOS device, install a matching program on your PC, and bingo: your PC thinks your iOS device is a second monitor. It can't be a cloned (duplicated) display, but must an extension of your desktop display. You can drag any program window, such as AutoCAD, onto the iOS screen, where you can zoom and pan independently of the main screen -- within the limits of what you originally moved here. The touch screen controls AutoCAD, and your mouse still works with it, as well.
Hey, I never said it was practical for AutoCAD, but it is cute.
