Earlier in the week, I tweeted "Forget the BRIC countries. Philippines is the next South Korea." As I have observed, this country has remarkable entrepreneurs. In addition, it has good infrastructure, the government is cracking down on corruption, it has a young eager workforce, and the economy is booming (relative to other countries these days).
The entrepeneural spirit extends to the countryside outside of Manila. Here are photos I shot from our minivan while it drove south on the weekend.
