My youngest daughter is in third year fine arts at Trinity Western University. Here she is working in the school's art studio. She says that it takes 16 hours, typically, to complete a painting. This photo was taken by Natalie McNeill and was featured on a poster for SAMC, TWU's arts program.

Assuming the paintings in the background are hers, it looks like Franz Kline's work has influenced her. Is that the case? If not, what artists have influenced her work?
