Yes, Dassault has no Catia for Architecture; but they do have Live Buildings

A recent Dassault conference showed off some tech previews of technologies under development at R&D. One was an application, Live Buildings, that uses Dassault's functional modeling, and is described thusly:

 ...an easy-to-use app that brings 3D authoring capabilities to the construction industry, and is focused specifically on the conceptual design phase of construction projects.

It is not based on CATIA, and it is unavailable to you and me. It is currently in a closed beta, and so is being used only by members of yet another new Dassault  online community, Buildings in Life, for construction industry types to exchange ideas and work together.

My thought exactly, Donovan. Digital Project was developed in CATIA in partnership with one of the most innovative architecture firms of our era - Gehry Partners. If Digital Project can handle a Gehry design, it can handle any design.

I would like correct somethings: Live Buildings is based on CATIA V6 and to be more precised it is based on CATIA Live Shape.

In this way, Live Buildings reuse natively the ultra fast modeling technology delivered by CATIA Live Shape to design an architecture project in a conceptual phase.

But that's not all, it is also based on the already well-known functional modeling technology, offering also a high level of flexibility. This kind of behavior-driven design allows users to focus on WHAT to design rather than HOW to design it.
