Q: When do you know that CAD software prices are too high?
Fortunately for us, he provides the answer:
A: When they can afford to throw in the computer for free.
Tiger Direct is selling a desktop computer bundled with AutoCAD 2011 for $3,999.99 ($4,799.98 minus "instant savings" of $799.99). That's happens to be the list price for AutoCAD.
As Mr K puts it, "Unbelievable!"
Nothing free there.
The actual value of that system is far less than the difference between 4K and what you can purchase AutoCAD for elsewhere.
