Share prices show no love for the present; their concern is only for hearing a happy answer to "What will you do for me next?" And the answer is not happy:
"For the July quarter, Nvidia forecast that revenue would fall 3 to 5 percent from the previous period, implying sales of $950 million to $970 million. That compares with Wall Street's estimate for revenue of $990 million."
Boom! Share price falls 10%.
Source.
Have often wondered what about S-H-A-R-E price investors don't understand. What with the current state of economies, i would think a firm with anything to share would be a good thing.
Perhaps a better name would be GREED-prices. If the greedy don't get more-than-enough, they dump the stock. Sad Sad Sad stae of affairs
