The interoperability between Alias and Inventor is the first thing I've ever seen in regards to Inventor that is even remotely interesting.

If Autodesks ramps up development in this area (surfacing)then for the first time they might have some chance of getting more than a few SolidWorks users to dump SolidWorks for Inventor / Alias.
