Microsoft isn't here, nor is it a sponsor this year.
nVidia isn't here, although PNY is.
PNY (booth 424) is a bit of an odd company: it seems to only rebadge hardware from others. It says it specializes in products for photography, mobility, gaming, and system builders, and their slogan reads "A Solution for Every Lifestyle" -- but in reality all they sell are flash memory cards and drives, RAM modules, and nVidia-based graphics boards. That's it. At one time I thought they were the low-end name from Toshiba but earlier I read a claim that they are owned by HP (doubtful); their Web site gives no indication of a corporate godfather.

Around here, PNY is the only company selling the nVidia Quadro series graphic cards. Few years ago, there were a few other competitors...

I too remember when I worked as CAD Manager many years ago how I had to select PNY to get nVidia based cards.

I have since learned that (1) PNY is an independent company; and (2) it remarkets nVidia boards, because nVidia does not sell to retail itself.
