1. Apple third-party developers don't have iPads yet, but they can run their software on the software iPad simulator.
2. NaviCAD displays 3D models from the Google 3D Warehouse on the iPhone right now.
...together, and you get NaviCAD transitioned to run full-screen (not at 2X of the iPhone version) on the iPad simulator:

Note that the screenshot isn't just a mockup, it's the real deal that has all the functionality of the iPhone version with rotation, pan, zoom, and double-click to focus/highlight a component.
"Transitioning" took a couple of mouse clicks in the dev environment (I'm actually surprised that Apple doesn't run existing iPhone apps at true full-screen without modification).
But with the larger screen real estate, added functionality is just a matter of ingenuity--any ideas would be welcome at [email protected]
