The Dezember/Januar issue arrived, and sadly it has the emaciated look of a print magazine in decline:
- the cover is as colorful and glossy as ever, but inside the pages are of thinner, somewhat lower-quality paper.
- there are far fewer pages, down to 56.
- cover price is now e14.80 (about $20!).
- December and January issues are combined into one.
- The formerly separate Inventor Magazin is folded into AutoCAD Magazin.
I think AutoCAD is being merged with
Inventor. Anything new in AutoCAD are things borrowed from Inventor.

"Anything new in AutoCAD are things borrowed from Inventor"
Fascinating comment this one? I suppose Mark, it explains why AutoCAD has had underdeveloped direct (3D) editing for several releases and Inventor has....? 3D Surfaces, Solids and 2D documentation can all be done and combined in single or multiple files using the same interface using many of the same tools, Inventor does what...?etc...
Inventor has a lot to learn from what has existed in AutoCAD a looong time ago ;-)
