Ascon Ships Kompas 3D R11

Here are some of the new features for 3D modeling in the just-released Kompas R11 (for some reason, I keep wanting to write Kosmos):

Mechanical mates simulate movements of parts in assemblies.

Local coordinates can now be used in 3D systems.

3D models can be scaled.

A new method for loading assemblies decreases load time by 10x.

Sketches can define bends.

Parts can be converted to assemblies, and vice versa.
