Визит Р. Грабовски is how my name is spelled in Russian, and is one of the very few items I can read at this Web page: isicad.ru/ru/articles.php?article_num=13181. (An English translation is due to be posted soon.)
David Levin of LEDAS and I are working out the details of the upFront.eZine Tour of Russia this September -- not the least of which is the travel visa. While Russia imposes strict visa conditions upon visitors, the good news is that Russian travel agencies (even hotels) are set up to process via applications. (How complex? Here are the instructions from a Sheraton hotel: eng.sheratonpalace.ru/visa/.) In my case, I needed to only fax a copy of my passport's primary page to the trip organizers.
Following a similar tour by upFront.eZine of Northern Europe last June, the plan is to visit a number of CAD-related software companies headquartered in St Petersburg, Moscow, and Novosibirsk -- and then report on them in subsequent issues of upFront.eZine. I hope to be able to blog the fascinating trip semi-live on WorldCAD Access.

As for the MCAD seminar, the plan is for it to take place on the afternoon of September 8 in Moscow. I'll provide more details in the weeks to come.

Р. is your the initial of your first name,

Hi, Ralph. My name is Pavel and I know a bit of Russian ;).
Your name spelled in Russian as "Ральф Грабовски", not the "Визит Р. Грабовски". Russian word "Визит" is English "visit" - it is spelled almost in the same manner.
Bye, thanks, Pavel.

Ralf, I'm sure your journey will be very interesting, and you find lots of surprises. I will be waiting for your reports... are you going to make it in Russian :)?
Best, Oleg
PS. I believe LEDAS is one of the best guiding people to make it happen...
