May Be Cancelled? PTC Wonders About Its User Events

PTC this morning sent out a survey wondering about replacing its in-person events with on-line or virtual events. The reason? The usual:

Travel expenses is an area that companies cut during a recession and it seems like a lot of our customers face more and more challenges to be out of the office and attend events.

So, that leaves SolidWorks World (planned for Anaheim this fall) and Autodesk University towards the end of the year. Will these events escape the horror of slashed travel budgets?

Just a note about SolidWorks World. SolidWorks World 2009 has already taken place this past February in Orlando, FL. SolidWorks World 2010 is planned for January 31 - February 3, 2010 in Anaheim, CA, USA.
