It's now 24 hours before my flight leaves for Europe and the ODA World Conference in Leiden, Holland.
At this time, I can check in online. The advantages are:
- I can ignore the huge long lineups for check-in at the airport, especially because I take only carry-on luggage.
- I can change my seat to better ones, like the at the bulkhead for more knee space.
The problem with checking in online at the hotel for the return trip is the problem of no printer. A few hotels provide a workstation specific to this process. United and some other airlines allow me to check in online, and then pick up my boarding pass(es) from a kiosk at the airport.
