James Heppelmann -- now president and chief operating officer.

C. Richard Harrison -- now chairman of the board, remains chief executive officer.

Former chairman of the board Noel Posternak -- remains board member, and lead independent director.

Share price fell to a new multi-year low on the news.

The remark about the new low is misleading. PTC droped 5% so far today, but the market as a whole dropped 4%. Autodesk, Dassault Systemes, and Siemens all dropped 4% as well. MSC dropped 9%.
