IMSI/Design's Challenge to Autodesk: We see your LT, and raise you by XT Pro

Capitalism. Gotta love it. 

IMSI/Design launches the paid version of DoubleCAD XT today, the Pro version ($695). It adds parametric 2D constraints, compatibility with SketchUp, BOMs, parametric and self-healing objects, and more. The idea is that AutoCAD LT users upgrade to XT Pro.

The code is based on TurboCAD, and not IntelliCAD. While it reads and writes DWG, XT uses its own file format. 

(DoubleCAD is not a double entendre, such as priced-like-LT-but-works-like-AutoCAD, but means "design and drafting.")
