Ansys reports Q3 (ends Sep 30) revenues of $128.8 million, up 37% over the previous quarter. The rocket boost is partly due to its acquisition of Ansoft.
Industries devastated like the aftermath of hurricanes? Tidal waves of cutbacks at GM and Toyota? Permafrost on worldwide credit?
No, no sign of those tornadoes in the sunny Q4 guidance from Ansys: they expect this quarter's revenues to remain unchanged from their previous guestimate of $145-$149 million. Says ceo Jim Cashman (who thankfully avoided weather analogies):
Despite uncertainties and confidence issues that are predominant in today’s global economy, we continue to forge ahead and deliver business results in-line with our commitments and our proven strategy.
