Over at Seeking Alpha, Sramana Mitra proclaims, Autodesk Is My CAD Play, and then makes several strange statements:
-- SolidWorks provides limited competition to Inventor.
-- Revit is a project management platform akin to Buzzsaw.
-- Acrobat 3D is a "gold-plated trinket" compared to Autodesk's "Tiffany’s jewelry store."
Ms Mitra's experience with the CAD world comes from "a proven track-record in turn-arounds" for small private companies; think3 is the example listed.
In the comments section, BKohN notes, "I heard AutoDESK being trumped up the other day by BJ Hunnicutt on Fox news. What's up with the blitz?"
Mike Ferrell, the actor who played BJ Hunnicut in MASH, has been an activist for environmental causes for years. I'm sure he is waxing enthusiastic for Autodesk's sustainability initiatives -- whether paid or unpaid.
