These we-said, they-said law suits between competing rapid prototyping corporations is too complicated for me to follow, so I will direct you to The 3D Team's story "New 'Legal Hot Water' RP Material Announced for V-Flash" at 3D CAD NEWS.
(If you see my name in the article, it's because a 3D CAD News editor asked for help in digging up that now-abandoned press release. After searching numerous dead ends I eventually found a copy in Google's cache. Makes me want to insert some snide remark about being wary about what you post and what you erase from the Internet, but it's too late in the evening for that.)
Well, okay, just one snide remark: I figure that once the law suits are over, both sides will declare victory.
Is 3D still a player on the rp scene? I haven't heard much about them besides this lawsuit. Our company works with composites manufacturing technologies and we have been evaulating both evisiontec and stratasys over the past few months. We haven't even looked at 3D.
