I discovered the utility on my new HP TX1220 notebook computer that tests how "good" it is for Windows Vista. (What happened the the good old days when the OS was good enough for the hardware?)
I started the utility and it takes a while to run. After a while most of the screen went white (better than going blue, I understand), and then displayed this error msg:
