After last spring's detour, when Autodesk got the Open Design Alliance to drop the "we imitate TrustedDWG" thingy, the popular alternative to Autodesk's DWG tech -- DWGdirect -- has been updated with:
-- annotation scaling
-- DWF file underlays
-- partial screen updates
-- table and table style support
-- new classes and methods
And more.
I wonder if the new DWGdirect also supports DGN underlays and xlation? It should. After all, the organization changed its name from "OpenDWG" to "Open Design" after becoming the clearinghouse for Bentley's DGN (design) format.
If the DWGDirect libraries support the DGN underlays and xlation, I would think it would have to the way the Autodesk reverse-translated the DGN file format. If you are thinking that because Bentley would add extra value to the DWG libraries because of the DGN format...I'm not sure I think that is a validepremise.
