Is the initial excitement of CAD blogging lagging?
I look at some of the big names that (used to) blog. Are they on vacation or just bored with the concept? Maybe they are all a-Twitter.
AECnews.com
3 entries in the last month.
CAD Insider
1 entry in the last month.
3D CAD News
2 entries in the last month, other than a couple of self-referential ones.
This illustrates the enslaving ethos of blogs: publish often or perish slowly. The irony of it: the freedom to publish leads to the requirement to publish.
Most of the time my posts require a lot of thought. Not an everyday thing.

Interesting timing... several new items at AECnews and 3D CAD News. Still busy week in, week out at CADCAMNet, but that one is behind a subscription wall so only our subscribers notice.

Which reminds me; I must post into my blog Autodesk's (lawyer's) response, to my blog, that states Autodesk "will not be drawn into responding to my weblog"?

I guess most of them all belong to the writers guild and are out carrying blank picket signs.
