An anonymous poster says China is more important to American companies than is Europe. But not to US-based CAD vendors, our area of interest. To challenge the argument, here are Autodesk's sales in worldwide regions for fiscal year 2007:
North, Central, and South America -- $735 million
Europe -- $687 million
Asia-Pacific -- $418 million
The weak American dollar will help Autodesk (and other US-based CAD vendors) post higher profits in the coming quarters.
