A couple of photos from COE...
Attendance at COE is 1,270, up 10% of last year. You see some of the attendees in this photo of lunch:
From the keynote address, an image of the new 3D Live interface. The gray disc in the center is like a turntable that holds the parts, which are exploded (I think) through the assembly tree. CAD data is a lightweight format generated in batch mode each day, while metadata is read in realtime from product databases, like Enovia
Possibly the highlight of this event is editor Randall Newton's cantaloupe-colored silk jacket that he bought online for $25.
(Disclosure: Dassault Systems provided me with transportation, hotel, meals.)
Well, now at least I know you won't use that picture for blackmail.
