BDonline is creatint awareness of nonsense-speak in the architectural world by holding a contest: match the archibabble to the architect, and win a iTunes token. Details here.
Sample: "The epiphany of the constructible is the strange sucking of the earth's axis." Talk about being generated by a randomized sentence constructor; but no, apparently spoken by humans. The inability to speak clearly is a sign of contempt for those around you, because you wish your communication be be one-way -- your way, alone.
We should do a similar contest for the nonsense-speak expressed by some press releases.
When I was in architecture school, my senior class had t-shirts printed up that had a "match the professor to the archibabble" game on the back.
