Adobe quietly announced more CAD translators for free. Acrobat 3D now imports these heavy-duty 3D formats:
* Dassault Systemes CATIA
* PTC Pro/ENGINEER
* SolidWorks
* UGS NX
* UGS I-deas
Adobe got these translators when they bought French translation company TTF last year. But this is not Acrobat 3D 8, which is still to ship sometime this year. However, if you bought Acrobat 3D (the first version, aka v7) after Sept 18, you'll get a free update to v8 whenever it ships.

Point of clarification: the translator update actually does update the Acrobat 3D v7 translators to support more recent versions of the formats you list. Earlier versions of all of these formats were supported with the shipping version of Acrobat3D.
