I'm nearly done my latest PDF ebook, "Animations in AutoCAD." This ebook looks at several ways of creating animations (movies) with AutoCAD 2007, as well as going on walk-throughs of 3D models.
At this point, this new e-book contains the following chapters:
1. Introduction to Animations
2. Recording Animations
The AniPath command lets you create a camera path through a 3D model, and then save an animation to a movie file such as AVI or QuickTime.
3. Walking and Flying
The 3dWalk and 3dFly commands let you interactively move through 3D models. They are the same as each other, except that 3dWalk is a bit more controlled, because the z-height is fixed.
Tip: Use the VPoint command to change the elevation seen during the 3dWalk command.
4. The Dashboard
The Dashboard has controls that let you record your 3D walks and flythroughs to movie files.
5. Enhancing Animations
Adding materials and lights to make the animations more realistic. Also, how to use Microsoft's free MovieMaker with the movie files generated by AutoCAD.

I write "at this point" because writing books is a dynamic process. I'm never quite sure what they'll contain until I'm done writing. If you have suggestions for material to add to this book, let me know.
