In its monthly newsletter [turbocad.com], IMSI/Design says:
...next year, look for support [in TurboCAD] of other conceptual design tools such as SketchUp, through expanded file format support such as SKP and a link to the Google 3D Warehouse.
Also...
In the future, you will see an even tighter integration of the two programs [TurboCAD and FloorPlan] as they share more and more common object types such as Doors, Windows, Walls, Roofs, Slabs and Stairs.
IMSI the makers of TurboCAD are scaring a lot of users. They have dropped support for certain elements that use to be well designed in the Pro Version. Snaps seem to be a problem now also. There should also be a constant backward capable fie format for those users that do not upgrade every year. I am not sure about upgrading to the newest version. It is stil not an easy user interface.

It is depressing when a new release leaves out stuff from earlier releases, or is significantly incompatible.
I'm going through AutoCAD just now on a project, and a lot of stuff got pulled from 2007:
Background
LsEdit
LsNew
LsLib
RendScr
Replay
Scene
ShowMat
Stats
3dsOut
In some cases, there are replacements, but like Background (now part of the View command) they are less convenient in some cases.
