Opera Mni Browser for Palm TX, etc

You can now use a mini-version of the Opera browser on these models of the Palm:

TX
Treo 600
Treo 650
Tungsten C
Tungsten T3
Zire 72

Make you model selection here [opera.com], and then download the .prc file. The software is free. You will need to install Java 2 Micro Edition, if it isn't already on your Palm.

New Features

Irritatingly enough, Opera keeps refering to all these Palm models as a "phone."

* Download images, MP3s, etc. directly to the phone.
* New skins.
* Select extra search engines for the home page.
* Bookmarks are assigned a shortcut key combination.
* Smooth horizontal panning when browsing backwards or forwards
* Etc.
