Why does this pair of headlines (both appearing yesterday) worry me?

* Microsoft to sell software tools for games - AP.
* Microsoft warns game developers of security risk - Yahoo.

This appears to be proof that Microsoft still doesn't get it -- akin to its disastrous decision to allow VBA macros to be stored in Office documents.
