Autodesk Continues Alias Tradition of Free Alias PLE

Autodesk keeps the the practice of recently-acquired Alias Corp's free download of the "personal learning edition" of AliasStudio for non-commercial-use. The software is used by design studios for sketching, surface modeling, interactive visualization, rendering, and animation.

PLE discourages commerical use by adding a watermark to images, and stores files in an incompatible format, called "a special non-commercial file format" by Autodesk. After registering with Autodesk, you can download it from autodesk.com/studiople.
