After a company with a similar name complained, CADlock changes the name of its software from "CADLock eVault for AutoCAD" to "CADVault for AutoCAD". Hey, I like the new name better, so it's just as well.
As well, the company is making its beta public: Click Customer Partner Program for instructions: select a country, agree to an agreement, and enter contact info.
As for CADVault, it's the improved version of CADLock SE (first introduced in 1997), because it secures graphical and non-graphical elements in AutoCAD drawings; objects are stored in a vault object, which places restrictions on how the objects can be used and exposed to other users. A free object enabler is required for other users to access the CADvault-enabled drawings.
