Autodesk is lauding itself for the effects in current movies that were created using some of its software. But the press release writer goofed up in this paragraph:
In the sequence, the frozen waterfall thaws. The river then breaks apart and melts, showing a transition to spring. This enchanting change of season was crafted with computer-generated elements such as water, fog, icebergs, wolves and beavers...
First see the movie, then write the press release. As I recall, the thawing of the waterfall is un-enchanting, involving attacking wolves, four children being swept downriver in icy waters, and the possibility of one sister having drowned.
If this is what passes for enchanting, then it's no wonder so many movies and computer games are so screwed up.
