Matrox has figured out how to fool the Windows 2000 and XP operating systems into believing your monitor is twice as wide as it is.
1. Unplug the monitor from your computer.
2. Plug in the DualHead2Go box (US$169) into the computer's monitor port.
3. Attach the monitor to the DualHead2Go box, and plug in a second monitor, as well.
Now you have double-wide display. Some users find it useful to make one screen the working screen, while the second screen holds apps that display status info.
