Archway is updating its VersaCAD software for Mac and Windows. The Mac version has improved compliance with Tiger; an updated dxf/dwg translator; and other enhancements. It's due to ship before American Thanksgiving, which I think is closer to the end of November.
The Windows version has Explorer for managing sets of project drawings, as well as batch and concurrent plotting. Also new: snap to arc midpoint, scrollwheel dynamic zoom, and symbol librairies, that used to cost an extra $500, are now included. The Windows version is due to be released 1 Nov.
VersCAD was one of the very first CAD packages, even pre-dating AutoCAD. It's good to see it staying up to date.
