Wikipedia is the public domain encyclopedia that anyone can add to and edit -- within limits. The listing of CAD vendors, though, is woefully out of date: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_CAD_companies .
For example, T&W Systems is listed as owning VersaCAD (shud be Archway Systems). Felix GmbH needs to be renamed GiveMePower Gmbh. Graphisoft no longer owns ArchiFM. Autodesk lists just AutoCAD and Inventor, and (hee, hee) Alias is still listed as the owner of StudioTools.
Also, most Web links are missing. If its a rainy afternoon and you're bored, consider spending an hour updating the list. (If the Lufthansa aircraft that travels between Vancouver and Europe had Internet, this would be a great job for me during the 9.5-hour flight -- but it doesn't.)
Amusing. Your link to Wikipedia is broken.

Worse: have a look at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:CAD_file_formats
The list of CAD file formats contains 10 entries...
