Another article on how marketing firms are desecrating blogs. In Blogging for Dollars, J. Ryan writes about his experiences, first in pretending to signup for receiving cash for flogging a brand name, and then interviewing the FTC (who refused to answer his questions about the illegality of ads masquerading as editorial) and the head of the marketing firm (who did answer, recognizing that the interview would bring him even greater exposure.)
