Autodesk doesn't want you to view DWG files outside of AutoCAD, so it doesn't provide free software for viewing its native format -- unlike other CAD vendors.
Stepping in to the gap is Informative Graphics with its Free DWG Viewer for DWG, DXF, and DWF files generated by versions of AutoCAD through to 2006. So, no need for Autodesk's free DWF Viewer when this free viewer handles DWF plus DWG/DXF. Download from here.
Features include:
- support for xrefs and setting ref paths
- enhanced zooming
- browse folders with next/previous actions
- launch AutoCAD
- send file through email and set reference file paths
- rotate and anti-aliased rendering of DWF files
If you want to print and measure DWG/DWF/DXF files, you'll need to pay Informative Graphics US$29 annually for the Brava Desktop DWG Upgrade. I guess if you want to print DWFs, then Autodesk's free viewer has a leg up.
eDrawings from SolidWorks Corp. (also free) has been able to read DXF/DWG files for ~3 years. It doesn't read DWF files, though.

Dear Sirs,
I'd like to use this software in case I've received some *.AutoCAD Plot files to print/plot.
Best regards,
Ivan
