Some people sign up for daily jokes delivered by email. Back in Nov 2000, I signed up for Ditherati. Every work day, Owen Thomas sends along a clever (or not-so) quote made by someone in the technology industry who should know better.
Here's a sample, this one being the first one that arrived in my In box after I signed up:

POWER TO THE PEOPLE
"I mean, do people have a clear view of what it means to live on $1 a day? There's no electricity in that house. None.... They're not going to sit there and like, browse eBay or something."
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, on whom it's slowly dawned that computers are not going to cure world hunger, The New York Times, 3 November 2000
