Apple is being sued for:
* Starting the warrenty period when it ships product to the dealer, rather than when the customer buys the product; extended warrenties are similarly affected negatively.
* Selling refurbished products as new.
* Using dealers' customer lists to contact customers directly, in the hopes of redirecting them to Apple's own stores.
The class action suit hopes to compensate dealers and customers back to the beginning of 1995. More at Customers, resellers bite Apple back.
