I got a USB light for my notebook computer, but the beam was too concentrated to cover the entire keyboard.
I've found a better place: under my desk, plugged into a spare USB port on the back of my tower PC. It provides lighting for changing around cables in that otherwise dark area; its long flexible neck allows me to direct the light to where its needed.
As an alternative, there are now USB extension cables that have LEDs lights built into each end.
ye tht seems like a good idea but........ a usb lighted cable u can only see the end of the cable and not the entire back of the computer system.
